I was fortunate to be Andrea Juskaitis's student for two years. Andrea is a great teacher who cares deeply about her students. She made every effort to create a classroom that felt like a community, adopting teaching practices that made the class engaging and inclusive. She introduced a new teaching style to Vail Christian High School, even going so far as to completely rearrange the class furniture to facilitate "Roundtable Discussions". Her class was very memorable because she approached teaching as a community activity. With Andrea's unique teaching style, I became a stronger writer and student. Outside of class, Andrea was critical in my college application process. Andrea always found time to meet with me, talk about college admissions, and go over college and scholarship application essays. She does an incredible job of connecting with students and providing meaningful advice. Our many conversations and her feedback helped me refine my writing to the best it could be. Just as in class, Andreas' desire to help students made me feel supported and confident. My two years with Andrea were productive, enjoyable, and memorable. Andrea is a great teacher, mentor, and person; I can't recommend her enough!
